Our 9th grade Literature students have been diving into The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare! After close reading and discussion, students prepared for and participated in a friendly debate, arguing whether Juliet’s decision to drink the potion was an act of bravery or foolishness.
Through this activity, students practiced critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, and respectful discourse—skills that extend far beyond the classroom and into real-world conversations. 👏🎭

Here are some pictures from PJHS Honors Night on Thursday, January 22. It was a nice ceremony celebrating our students' accomplishments in the first semester of the school year. Principal's List and Honor Roll students are shown, along with the high turnout of families who came to recognize their students' achievements.
